AAM Establishes New Standards on Archaeological Material and Ancient Art

AAM announced the establishment of standards regarding museum acquisition of archaeological material and ancient art. The standards emphasize proper provenance of objects and complete transparency by acquiring institutions. The AAM Board of Directors recently approved standards can be found here.

Dear Valued Customer

For the first time ever, AAM has found it necessary to raise the retail price on a small number of our own publications – 14 titles out of our list of more than 100 books. In addition, a significant number of titles procured from outside publishers have also gone up in price as the book industry struggles with rising costs, along with the rest of us.

These price changes represent an average increase of 10% for AAM members, and 14% for non-members.

All changes go into effect as of September 1, 2008. Order now to avoid paying more at a later date.

Here is a link to the titles that will be affected, along with their new prices: PRICE CHANGES
